SHAYLA JOELLE

Shayla Pastor's at Sozo Youth in the city of Pico Rivera in Los Angeles. She believes God hasn't just called her to preach but to serve. She is committed to serving the youth and young adults at her church as their Youth Pastor. Shayla is also the director of sozo youth summer camps. Leading in love and connecting youth into their own personal relationship with Jesus is the mission on her heart.

Shayla started preaching when she was 17 and is ordained though Foursquare. Preaching the truth with passion is strong on Shayla's heart. She believes God's word needs to be our standard of righteousness and it must be preached with truth and grace. Shayla has preached at women's events, youth camps and church congregations throughout the country. As an advocate for women in ministry, she also mentors' young women who feel called into the ministry.

Growing up in a Pastor's home has been a huge blessing in Shayla's life. This blessing has allowed her to grow up in ministry. Seeing her parent's exemplify strength and endurance in hard times while church planting, built strong character in her. It taught her to love when it is hard to love and what it looks like to lay your life down for Christ. Shayla has a heart for hurting pastor's kids and because of this she offers mentoring specifically for hurting Pastor's Kids.
